Maxxun is a technology development company that is going to produce a new and revolutionary solar energy system that generates low-cost solar electricity (€ 0.25/kWh), at prices which are competitive with the grid in 2010 and is 8 years ahead of competition in price/performance ratio. Maxxun solar concentrators have both technical and aesthetic advantages.

In terms of efficiency, the goal is to reach > 5% of efficiency in 2008. In the figure below the historic progress is shown. 

After 2008 the aim is to increase efficiency further. Around 2010 a decision will be made to engineer and build a pilot production line.
